Mums and Tots

Anyone with children of pre nursery age are welcomed.

At High Street mums, dads, grandparents and carers are welcome to join with children up to age 3 years. We offer a safe environment for play and fun with many opportunities for parents and carers to meet and make friends.

Our leaders will help you feel very much at home. Food is served at 11.00 and afterwards craft work is available for those children who wish to become involved. The morning ends with music and singing for everyone.

Meeting: Tuesday morning between 10am and 1130am, September until June.

Girl Guides

We are an organisation for girls and women from age 4 years and are open to all members of the community. We offer fun, exciting activities and the chance to make life-long friends. We give girls a space where they can really be themselves with other girls and share the experience of growing up in today's world.

Scouts

Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs & Scouts
The Slemish District Cubs will be holding a District activities challenge night in our halls on Friday night 20th January.

Our Scout Group is open to all youth between the ages of 6 and 18 in the surrounding communities, no matter which faith they belong to.

Girls and Boys can join in all of the four Sections.

Beaver Scouts are for ages 6 to 8
Cub Scouts are for ages 8 to 10 1/2
Scouts are for ages 10 1/2 to 14 1/2
Explorer Scouts are for ages 14 1/2 to 18

All groups work towards badges and challenge awards. A wide range of activities include: sleepovers for the young age group and hiking, tracking and camping for the older groups.

Youth Club

All young people in school year P7 and older are very welcome every Saturday at 8pm until 10pm.
Lots of activities, including: sport, computer games, tuck shop, baking/cooking and social area etc.

Young people from Primary 7+ age come to the youth club to socialise with other young people through a range of activities: ………. and a LOT more … “BE THERE” Meeting on Sat night from 8pm until 10pm

Kids Club

Kids Club commencing on Monday 23rd January
It will take place on the first and third Monday of each month, 6.30pm - 7.30pm in the church halls. All primary age children are welcome to come along and have fun, play games, sing songs and learn about Jesus. If you have any questions please contact Nicole Gleghorne.
 
The girls are involved in activities such as games, craft, challenges, sleepovers, camps, badge work, and outdoor pursuits. The older girls get the opportunity to go on international camps and work on Duke of Edinburgh challenges.

We are always keen for new volunteers to come help us run our units.

Meeting every Wednesday evening Age groups and meeting times:

Rainbows: age 4-7 years 6pm - 7.15pm
Brownies: age 7-10 years 6pm - 7.15pm
Guides: age 10-14 years 7pm - 8.45pm
Senior Section: age 14-25 years 7pm - 8.45pm

2nd Antrim Brownies

We are for girls aged 7 - 10 years. We meet once a week on Wednesday evening from 6 - 7.15pm. We provide a varied programme which includes badge work, challenges and trips out. At our meetings we also play games and do arts and crafts and celebrate cultural events and once a year we go on a residential weekend. We give the girls the opportunity to develop their full potential and encourage them to make a difference. We provide them with a girl only environment where they can be themselves and share the experience of growing up as a girl in today's world. We offer fun, exciting activities and the chance to make lifelong friends.

LIVE! …..... Youth Fellowship

Live! (Youth Fellowship) recommences on Sunday 15th January
Live! meets in the Sleith Room: Meeting schedule .... every other week on Sunday evenings from 7.00 - 8:30pm and on the alternate week, on Saturday evenings from 7-8pm. All young people in Year 8 and above are welcome. If you have any questions, please contact David or Ruth Gleghorne.

Together, young people are given the chance to get to know God more and encourage each other through: Meeting every Sunday 7.00pm - 8:30pm apart from the 1st Sunday in the Month when it meets at 8.00pm - 9:30pm
